OUR CTE PROGRAM

The Career & Technical Education Department in the Smithtown School District consists of three departments, Business (Grades 9 – 12), Family & Consumer Science (Grades 6 – 12) and Technology (Grades 6 – 12)  The CTE Department represents the majority of the elective area in the District.

Work Experience and the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board are also included under the CTE umbrella.  Our Work Experience program prepares and assists our students with career exploration and job placement through classes, shadowing and career counseling.
